Flavours

The taste and aroma of fresh fruits, herbs, spices and other natural foods are the inspiration in the creation of our flavours. We design our flavours to be used as a vital tool to restore the freshness of the taste, aroma and zest in foods that may have been be dulled by unavoidable manufacturing or storage processes.

We utilise the full spectrum of modern technologies to assist in the process of flavour creation. The composition of each fruit or food is carefully considered, and also how that composition varies with variety, season or cropping time and  location. From this data we identify what it is that influences the essential sensory drivers of each flavour.

Utilising this technique, we are able to incorporate and vary the characteristics such as aroma, freshness, ripeness, pulpiness and peel that so contribute to the perception of great flavours.

Natural Flavours:

Natural flavours are created using ingredients that are sourced entirely from natural sources. Essential oils and extracts are primary ingredients for these flavours. They are supplemented by a vast array of other ingredients that are derived from foods entirely by physical means.

Nature Identical Flavours:

All other flavours that we manufacture are classed by IOFI (the International Organisation of Flavour Industries) as Nature Identical. This means that the ingredients used, although not natural in origin, are actually identical in composition with those ingredients found in nature.

These flavours contain ingredients that are the same as those found in the foods we normally consume.

We do not utilise any Artificial flavouring compounds, that is any ingredients that are not found in nature, and do not form part of our natural food chain.
